Vannamei

The Vannamei Shrimp, also known as Whiteleg Shrimp, is the most common commercial shrimp species. Compared to Black Tiger Shrimps, The Vannamei Shrimp has more harvest cycles throughout the year and a higher stocking density. The shrimp has a sweet and meaty taste, a soft structure and shell and is being farmed in both Asia and Latin America.
