The Asian ocean offers a wide variety of wild shrimp species. Depending on the season and availability a broad range of the finest raw material is sourceable:

Sea White Shrimp (Penaeus Indicus)
Sea Tiger Shrimp (Penaeus Monodon)
Sea Flower Shrimp (Penaeus Semisulcatus)
Bamboo Flower Shrimp (Penaeus Japonicus)
Brown Shrimp (Metapenaeus Affinis)

 

PUD/PD Shrimp (Metapenaeus Monoceros, Metapenaeus Dobsoni, Parapenaeopsis Stylifera, Solonecera Spp.)

Unique amongst Lenk’s Sea catch products are the Wild Caught Black Tiger prawns from the Bay of Bengal, India, Chilika Lake. A great habitat for numerous animals and plants, carefully being protected and a means of living for numerous fishermen. The Chilika Lagoon Black Tiger Shrimp can grow up to 13 inches and its commercial size starts at 2/4, for both HOSO, HLSO and PD. The catching season begins in July and ends in April.
